A new tranquillity centre in the hospitals will create a space where thoughts, feelings and experiences can be temporary processed or simply offer an opportunity to wind down and recharge. The space will be situated in a quite area but will be central with a view of the courtyard.
The silence garden bench is made with an aluminium frame that is up-holstered with wool. The stratum that these elements offer has been integrated with the courtyard as the layers offer shelter and dept.
Because of the wool up-holster of the bench one may find comfort, warmth and consolation. This, together with a view of the courtyard, will hopefully offer an brief escape from the hospital.
